As the exploitation of the scraps in the former LAMCO Operation area in Nimba continues, the Nimba Legislative Caucus has decided to enhance transparency in the process by restructuring the SCRAP COMMITTEE of the County.

Hon. Younquoi Visits Liberian Embassy in Abuja
Following the conclusion of the conference of African Parliamentarians on Friday, November 9, 2018, I visited the Liberian Embassy in Abuja on Saturday, the 10th instant and was received His Excellecy Prof. Alhansan Conteh, the Ambassador.
The Liberian Delegation currently seated at the opening session of the African Parliamentary Union in Abuja. The conference runs from 5-9 November 2018.

This was at the Canadian Parliament on Sunday, October 21, where some African Lawmakers congregated to get acquainted before the commencement of the conference on the 22nd instant. Details loading.

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, the remains of the late Army Major John S. Blaggy, who left this Earth on September 3, 2018, was laid to rest in his home town of Dian, Gipo Township. He was in his mid-seventies. He started his education at the Flumpa Inland Mission School in 1953 after he was carried there as one of the wards of the late Elder Johnny Gipo; the latter being the first ELDER of the Inland Church in Liberia.

Recently at the opening ceremony of the County Council sitting in Sanniquellie, Superintendent Dorr Cooper, began the process by temporarily turning the gavel of authority over to the Acting Chairman of the Nimba Legislative Caucus, Hon. Johnson Gwaikoko, while other members, including me, looked on. The delegates, too, were elated to see their direct representatives return to them for such an important event.

On March 15, 2015, the dedication of the school annex constructed by Hon. Younquoi and the residents of Gbahn Town, Gbannah Chiefdom, took place.
